The Corangamite Youth Council FReeZA group meets monthly in Camperdown. They run a dance DJ party ‘Rampage’ each August, Youth Awards in November and recently another dance event each year. They are running a skate comp in December and also part of the Barwon South West Skate Scoot comp. Their Rampage dance/DJ party averages 400-450 young people and they've had Holly-J and many other DJ’s mix their beats for them.
Geelong FReeZA committee is currently looking for new members! FReeZA is a great way to learn experience in event management, PR and Marketing, technical skills such as lighting and sound through mentoring and industry experience. The committee meet weekly on Tuesdays at 4pm. Learn how to put together a gig from start to finish… email email@example.com for info.

Moyne Shire FReeZA
FOOT-in-the-DOOR is a vibrant youth program that is supported by FReeZA and runs for the duration of the Queenscliff Music Festival. Its purpose is to help emerging young artists showcase their talents, and as the name suggests get a ‘foot-in-the-door’ in the music industry. It gives young artists the chance to perform live in front of an audience at a nationally acclaimed music festival, which is a very valuable and rewarding experience for those selected artists. There are three sections of the FOOT-in-the-DOOR competition: Pop/Acoustic, Blues Roots & Beyond, and Rock. Five bands/artists will play in each section battling it out in front of a panel of industry judges and spectators for a cash prize. The 2013 FITD competition featured some up-and-coming stars, and a record number of applications were received last year with the competition for a spot stronger than ever. “You’d be crazy not to drop in for a few of these acts, as very shortly some of these artists will be selling out venues, and filling our Mainstage,? Andrew Orvis, Festival Director.
