Biography
Muso Network youth music event committee is open to young people aged 12 to 25 who have a keen interest in the live band scene. The committee provides a range of event management training in the organising of all events. Events include punk, rock, metal, and acoustic nights plus the annual FReeZA Push Start Battle of The Bands. The Meltdown Committee is similar and focuses on cultural, hip hop, dance, and disability events. The committees meet fortnightly at The Castle in Dandenong. On Thursdays we conduct Parkside Live (previously The Beat) where young people can gain skills in musical instruments. This is free and is held 4-7pm at The Castle, Hemming Park, Princes Hwy, Dandenong. For further details please contact City of Greater Dandenong Youth Services on 9793 2155.

Biography
Impakt Freeza welcomes 2013 with a brand new committee. Events kick off with two lunch time gigs at Rosebud and Dromana Secondary College. They are set to host a training event by The Push, then comes the South Eastern League Skate Comp in collaboration with the YMCA. Event highlights this year include lunch time gigs in local high schools with the high energy pop/punk rockers ‘Brighter At Night’ and the exciting privilege of hosting the Push Start Battle of the Bands Regional Final. All the behind the scenes ground work is done at weekly Impakt meetings held at the Rosebud YLounge every Thursday afternoon.

The Soundslike Productions FReeZA committee is made up of passionate, motivated young people aged 14-23 who are committed to making positive changes for young people in their community. In the next 12 months the committee will host a FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands event, host the underage DJ event 'Soundslike Beats', work in partnership with Melbourne High’s Rock Club to hold a lunchtime gig, host a stage at the annual Viva Youth Festival, hold the family friendly Phoenix Skate Park Jam, take part in organising The Push stage at the prestigious St Kilda festival, and hold industry training for committee members to improve event production skills!! The committee meet weekly on Wednesdays from 4.30-6.30pm at Level 1/22 Little Chapel Street, Prahran.
