The Corangamite Youth Council FReeZA group meets monthly in Camperdown. They run a dance DJ party ‘Rampage’ each August, Youth Awards in November and recently another dance event each year. They are running a skate comp in December and also part of the Barwon South West Skate Scoot comp. Their Rampage dance/DJ party averages 400-450 young people and they've had Holly-J and many other DJ’s mix their beats for them.
Geelong FReeZA committee is currently looking for new members! FReeZA is a great way to learn experience in event management, PR and Marketing, technical skills such as lighting and sound through mentoring and industry experience. The committee meet weekly on Tuesdays at 4pm. Learn how to put together a gig from start to finish… email email@example.com for info.
There are 15 fantastic young people on the Glenelg Freeza committee, who meet weekly at a local secondary college to organise hardcore, rap, and dance events. They have planned gigs, skate events, and festivals. Highlights have included helping local bands and DJs to gain popularity through FReeZA performances, the sense of pride shown by committee members after pulling off ‘a sick’ event, and having people travel from interstate to attend their gigs.
